We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to come and meet all of you this past weekend.  You are all so loving and we had such a wonderful time getting to know you.  We are also thoroughly impressed with all of the good works that you do as a congregation and we look forward to working with you after we graduate.

Mission Forum 2010

Missions

THEME:      OPEN EYES, OPEN HEART, OPEN HANDS
                Based on the Good Samaritan parable, Luke 10:25-37

DATE:         Sunday, October 31, 2010

PURPOSES:  To praise God for His work being done here and around the world.
                 To update our members on current mission efforts of this congregation.
                 To inspire each individual to consider greater participation in missions.
                 To commit money to support missions.

GOAL:         $175,000

Just a quick update from us.  Try Tray Kim, known as Try (Prounced "tree") graduated from CBI Saturday night.   Try started in November of 2007.  He was the first new student we added on when I first came.  He has proven to be very smart, an excellent student and a very good teacher and speaker.

Conifer church of Christ Update

Missions

With our focus on the future, the Conifer church of Christ has made some steps to help us grow numerically and spiritually. I have enrolled in a class at BVBID, our Ministry Groups are up and running, and we have established an important relationship with another domestic work.
