Ministry goals are to facilitate the organization and execution of meeting the needs of the elderly of the congregation. Opportunity is given to utilize members of the same age group, sharing their talents while caring for their peers. Efforts are to ensure all elder members’ needs are met, both physical and spiritual. The ministry helps promote active membership in later life. Evangelistic talents are used to promote evangelism in the elderly setting; nursing homes, hospitals, shut-ins, etc… Fellowship and friendship are shared with those serving and those being served.
