Ministry goals are to nurture closer relationships in the church through meals, fellowship and campouts. Fellowship is provided to create an inviting atmosphere for both members and visitors.  Work crews are established for serving the community, one another and for practicing hospitality. The ministry is an example of Christians working together for the good of others. Special event fellowships are provided throughout the year to reach into the community. The ministry provides a place for many to use their talents.

 

Wednesday Night Meals began three years ago.  We currently have six teams that rotate on a weekly schedule serving an average of 150.  The area Boy Scout troop prepares the meal for each fifth Wednesday.  Wednesday Night Meals provide a service for busy young families as well as our single and golden agers.  It is a wonderful time for our members to visit and also an opportunity for the "cooks" to spend time with their team members. We are always looking for new teams or extra members for existing teams.
