The ministry is designed to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of members and non-members in hospital settings and determine other areas of need. Christ’s love and encouragement is shown to all affected by the ministry. Opportunity is taken, as it arises, to restore weak or inactive members into service. Relationships are established with non-Christians in order to share the love and word of Christ. Members are encouraged to be an active part of hospital visitation.
