I’m so excited to be doing what I do!  Sharing the love and mercy of Jesus Christ to those in this world and in this church is a humbling task.  God is so good to us!  I’m thankful to be a minister of the gospel and even more thankful to be ministering to this congregation!

I was born in Abilene, Texas in 1962 to parents who were serving in the United States Air Force.  We moved around the country until 1972 when we moved back to Abilene.  It was there that we were introduced to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus and began a new walk with Him!  I attended Reagan Elementary, Lincoln Junior High, Cooper High School, and then Abilene Christian University. I was called into ministry my sophomore year at ACU and answered that call my junior year (I was a bit slow).  While working on my degree, Ministry and Evangelism, I ministered at Baker Heights Church of Christ and Oldham Lane Church of Christ and also spent over a year as a missionary intern in Skelmersdale, England.  I love the mission field and have been to many, many countries over the past 25 years.  Although a Texas boy for most of my life, I feel incredibly blessed to be working with this congregation in the great state of Oklahoma – this is home!

My wife, Karen, is an amazing lady!  She is my sweetheart, my right hand, my sister in the Lord, and my best friend!  We have three incredible children, Hunter (14), Colby (12), and Curry (8).  We have a dog named Flicker and two cats, Abby and Sterling.  I consider myself one of the most blessed individuals in this world!  But I’ve got to tell you, I’m REALLY looking forward to the world to come!  What a hope we have in Jesus!
