Growing, Strenghtening and Involving the Church

  • Growing an Evangelistic Culture at the Broken Arrow Church of Christ to accomplish God's work in the Broken Arrow community and in selected mission fields
  • Establish member development programs to prepare the body at Broken Arrow to accomplish God's work
  • Develop an effective leadership model to accomplish God's work at the church in Broken Arrow

Over the past several years the elders of the Broken Arrow congregation have sought to improve ways of delegating "areas of work”, commonly referred to as Ministries. The ministry program is designed with the understanding that each member of the body has unique abilities which are beneficial and necessary for the church to accomplish its purpose. Each ministry leader has received a charge from the eldership to involve members of the body that have these unique abilities and talents so that the ministry can work successfully for the glory of God.

 

Organized ministries provide many opportunities for members to become involved in the Lord's work. The elders encourage all members to search out ways to best use their talents in the Lord's service, both in organized ministries and in personal ministry.
