Our congregation currently supports three congregations in Ukraine - Shakhtyorsk, Khartyzsk and Gorlovka.  Broken Arrow also supports Brandon and Katie Price in Karkhov, Ukraine.

In Shakhtyork, we support Igor and Marina Pungin. They are graduates or Sunset Biblical Institute in Dontsk.  Igor and Marina teach weekly Bible classes at church. They also teach a weekly Bible class at a local orphanage and at a children's home.

Through the efforts of a campaign by the Broken Arrow congregation, in 1996 the Khartyzsk congregation was established. In Khartyzsk we work closely with a children's orphanage, providing money for food, birthday parties and Christmas presents for the children.

In Gorlovka, we began support for the Gorlovka church of Christ in 2010.  The minister is Valery Kolchik and Valery's wife is Lumilla.  The Kolchik's have three children - one son, Vania, and two daughters, Masha and Nancy.

Valery teaches a weekly Bible study and Sunday worship service at the orphianage.  Six teens from the orphanage were baptized this year.  The church averages about 45 weekly.

In Khartyzsk, we support Alexander Padalyuk.  Alexander is married to Aleena and they have one daughter, Keera.  Alexander and Aleena are graduates of the Ukraine Bible Institute of Sunset International Bible Institute.  The Khartyzsk congregation averages 35 each Sunday.  Alexander teaches a Bible class at the children's shelter in Khartyzsk and leads a Bible studyo class for the teens.

This summer, our mission team held four VBS's (Shakhtyorsk, Khartyzsk, Gorlovka, and Yasinovataya) where we taught lessons about the life of David to about 240 children.  We also took over 100 hat and scarf sets to these congregations who will distribute them t the orphanages this winter.

KHARKOV, UKRAINE - In July of 2011, after working with the church in Broken Arrow for several months, Brandon & Katie Price moved to Kharkov, Ukraine, to join a mission team who were already in Kharkov. Each Saturday, they have an English Study Program and Katie also hosts a cooking class in English. The purpose is to make new contacts with this outreach program and strengthen bonds with those they already know. On Sunday, they have a Seekers Study which is taught in Russian.
