MEDICAL MISSION TRIPS—WHAT ARE THEY?

Medical Missions seeks to glorify God by combining the talents of Bible teachers and medical professionals on medical evangelistic campaigns to developing countries.  Help is needed obtaining donations of medicine, eyeglasses, medical supplies and equipment and in packing and preparing the materials for the foreign outreach programs.  Additional help is needed in writing to new converts and follow-up of those contacted who desire further study through World Bible School. 

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?

  • To carry the gospel to those who have never heard. Usually we are going into areas where the Church of Christ is small and not well known.
  • To utilize the skills of trained medical professionals to show the love of Jesus and demonstrate to communities and their governments that Christians are concerned for them.
  • To assist the host congregation's growth spiritually and numerically through conducting an evangelistic campaign and gospel meeting that will give the Church of Christ a good name in the community.                                                                                           
  • To work with children and their teachers in a Vacaton Bible School type setting, developing good contacts for the local minister to follow up on after the team leaves. 
  • To help our congregation and youth grow spiritually by conducting a foreign outreach program utiliaing the talents within our congregation. Involving our members by obtaining donations of medicines, supplies, money and equipment for use in missions. Fellowship that comes from working together that makes us more effective evangelists in our own country, neighborhood and home.

Past Medical Mission destinations have been, Guyana, Belize, Dominica, Panama & Ukraine.
