The Women's Prison Ministry group sends at least two women each Saturday morning to the Eddie Warrior Correctional Center at Taft, Oklahoma to conduct a Bible study class with incarcerated women. The women are encouraged to take Bible Correspondence lessons, and often are led to request baptism. The Broken Arrow congregation is also responsible for conducting a worship service at this facility every month having a 5th Sunday. The ministry requires completion of Department of Corrections volunteer paperwork and attending an orientation class at EWCC before becoming an approved volunteer. Only approved volunteers are allowed inside the prison. Others can help by agreeing to become an inmate pen pal or by helping with the correspondence work.
