Broken Arrow Church of Christ

On Saturday, Feb. 28th about 50 of our young people participated in the Bible Bowl competition at Chisholm Trail Church of Christ in Duncan. Friday night we stayed in the homes of the members of the church in Duncan. Saturday we had homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then  spent the morning taking a grueling test over the Gospel of John. Taco salad & cookies was served for lunch. Following lunch there was a buzzer round competition. Our elementary buzzer team won the elementary division, competing with the winning high school team in a final, ultimately finishing second.

 Several of our teams and individuals placed in the competition, earning medals and/or plaques. Some of the awards earned were, an elementary team earned a 3^rd place plaque, a 2^nd place team plaque was earned by Jr. High and the two high school teams were awarded 1^st and 3^rd places. One of our high school individuals earned a $600.00 scholarship and two of our adults placed in the medal rankings. For a full list of those who competed and the test results, click here.
