The Rhoades Ministry has plans to serve breakfast and lunch to the local children this summer. 58% of the children enrolled at Rhoades Elementary, across the street from our church building, participate in the free and reduced lunch program. During summer vacation the need for nutritious meals continues. In conjunction with meals we will provide an enrichment program between breakfast and lunch. Ths is a golden opportunity to share God's love with neighborhood families. This will be a hands-on project; lots of volunteers will be needed. Some people have already committed to do their part. If you can volunteer for an hour, a day, a week, a month or all summer we can use you; men, ladies and teens. See the sign-up board near the south wing to volunteer. There will be more volunteer positions as this project takes shape, so check the sign-up board often.
