What we're about

Rhoades Elementary Ministry is a partnership between the church and Rhoades Elementary located directly across the street from the church building on 4th St. This partnership is a support system for the needs of the school and its student population.
New Heights Summer Camp comprises the largest service opportunity within the Rhoades Ministry. New Heights has a three-fold purpose:

  1. Provide nutritious meals to local children 18 and younger when school meal programs are unavailable,
  2. Provide a safe, nurturing, learning environment for elementary aged children to minimize summer learning loss,
  3. Expose children to the love of God.

New Heights is an eight-week summer camp that is equipped for over 200 children kindergarten through middle school. It is an academic enrichment camp coupled with a children's summer feeding site. Opportunity is also afforded to expose children to Bible teaching and Christian values.

So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." - Galatians 6:10
