“Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus: Even When It’s Hard to Look Up”
Tim Rush (Memorial Drive church of Christ)
Tim has a lot of issues he tries to keep hidden. He’s a people pleaser and struggles to say no. He’s been broken due to the sin of others, and more so because of his own sin. In his weaker moments he tries to mask these truths with misdirection, hoping you’ll focus more on his education or service, or overwhelming good looks. But the truth is, he’s really a mess. Thankfully, Jesus loves him anyway.
Jesus has blessed him with a wonderful wife, Kim, and three awesome kids, Quincy, Karsyn and Clark. They were missionaries in Mexico for 11 years, but have spent the last two and a half in Tulsa; now serving with the Memorial Drive church of Christ.
A broken man, Tim is especially grateful for a merciful Jesus.
